Time Zone: Macau is 8 hours ahead of Greenwich Mean Time (+8GMT).
Language: Both Chinese and Portuguese are official languages. Cantonese is the most widely spoken Chinese dialect in Macau. English is commonly spoken everywhere in Macau, especially around hotels and tourists areas. Most signs are in both Chinese and Portuguese.
